Mr Lewis
Safe Working Lifts Customer
Safe Working Lifts Ltd work to a planned preventative service maintenance schedule. This helps us to identify and rectify potential issues before they occur and inform our clients of any parts that need replacing due to wear and tear, therefore reducing the risk of any lift downtime.
Having your lift serviced is a legal requirement, but frequency of maintainence vists depend on on a few factors, these include the type of lift, number of floors served, and type of use it is subjected to. When deciding upon a service schedule you should remember that servicing is about preventative maintenance, so in theory more service visits should result in a more reliable lift.
As a general guide we recommend at least 4 service visits per year for passenger lifts.
For heavier used lifts such as hotels, hospitals and large office buildings we recommend between 6-12 visits per year.
For other types of lift including platforms, stairlifts and more please contact us for our recommendations.
For all contracted clients of ours we carry out an annual ‘site survey and lift condition report’ free of charge, this is an extremely in-depth survey that covers a multitude of items.
From this we will then provide our customers with a full quote with requirements to bring your lift up to current standards, and recommendations we feel could benefit them.
